It is difficult to understand why your spouse views pornography. It damages your trust and it hurts you to the core. IPACC is ready to assist couples to heal and to move on in their marriages after the discovery of this problem. Three specific areas need to be addressed to allow healing and trust to be regained:

When a person views pornography, their spouse is hurt. The injured spouse must have time to heal. They feel betrayed and neglected. Often the injured person blames themselves for their spouse’s behavior. A primary goal in couple’s therapy is to address the injured person's concerns.
The person viewing pornography must be accountable and take responsibility for getting themselves into this situation.
People look at pornography because of unmet needs. In couple’s therapy, we explore the root of their unmet needs that contribute to the addiction and find a healthier means to get their needs met. Couples who work together can gain insight into each others needs and will learn to recognize the warning signs that a destructive cycle is beginning once again. These insights enable a couple to actively prevent relapses.

IPACC works with couples in conquering these challenges and to once again experience love, support and understanding for each other. Our aim is to help you improve your marriage, not just maintain it.
